Here is our slightly soured version of the famous Singapore Sling. Feel free to adjust the measurements and ingredients to suit your taste preferences. Enjoy your Singapore Sling with a sour cherry shrub twist!
Ingredients:
- 45ml gin
- 45ml pineapple juice
- 15ml Sour Cherry Shrub
- 15ml Cointreau (or any orange liqueur)
- 15ml Benedictine (herbal liqueur)
- 15ml lime juice
- 10ml grenadine syrup (refer to our grenadine recipe)
- dash of Angostura bitters
- Ice cubes
- Pineapple slice and cherry for garnish
Instructions:
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Add the gin, cherry shrub, Cointreau, Benedictine, pineapple juice, lime juice, grenadine syrup, and a dash of Angostura bitters.
- Shake well until the mixture is thoroughly chilled.
- Strain the cocktail into a tall glass filled with ice cubes.
- Garnish with a pineapple slice and a cherry on a cocktail pick.
- Serve and enjoy!
