Don’t have any Pimm’s No 1 on hand. Not to worry here is a fast way to create a delicious Pimm’s cocktail cup with Aussie ingenuity and British spirit. Whether you’re celebrating at the Australian Open or just enjoying our summer season, here is our take on this refreshing drink.
Ingredients
- 60 ml Tanqueray London Dry gin
- 20 ml Chocola simple syrup
- 15 ml Lemon juice
- 1o ml Aperol
- 2-3 cucumber slices or cubes and knob of fresh ginger (optional)
- 90 ml Tonic water
- Ice
- Lemon
Instructions:
- Combine first four liquid ingredients and shake over ice
- Strain into a tulip glass and top up with tonic water.
- Garnish with lemon or cucumber slice and enjoy
Suggestion
- Pair this drink with cucumber sandwiches for a perfect English afternoon treat
