The only girly thing about this drink is its colour. There are so many ways to mess with a cocktail recipe, but the key ingredients must always remain. A classic cosmopolitan needs vodka, lime and cranberries. For those who find the cosmopolitan just a little too sweet, we have changed it up to concentrate on the lime flavour reduce the sweetness adding a refreshing savoury note that won’t disappoint.
The only problem with making a great cosmopolitan at home is how disappointing they are going to taste when you are out. The easiest way to make your cocktails taste great is by using top shelf alcohol and premium mixers like Botanikos syrups. You won’t be needing the Cointreau to add sharp orange citron to the vodka because our Lime simple syrup does the job and tastes fantastic. A small drink like the cosmopolitan needs garnish so why not try using a zester to make lime peel to add an extra lime flourish. We are calling this one a Lime Cosmo.
