Generally I don’t care to much for bitter aperitifs (think Negroni) but lately I have been craving bold orange colours in my cocktail glass.
Mixing my favourites Aperol (Bitters) Dolin Vermouth (Distilled Wine base) with Vickers (London Dry Gin) flavoured up with our Bitter Orange simple syrup. Brilliant! Easy to drink like my morning latte
An orange pick me up you wont be able to resist
Ingredients:
- 30 ml (1 oz) Aperol
- 15 ml (1/2 oz) Dolin Blanc Vermouth
- 30 ml (1 oz) Vickers Dry Gin
- 15 ml (1/2 oz) Bitter Orange Simple Syrup
- Ice
Instructions:
- Put 3 blocks of ice into a rocks glass
- Pour over measured quantities of Aperol, Gin Vermouth and Bitter Orange Simple Syrup
- Stir with a spoon
- Add lemon slice
