Festive Gin Fizz

Make your next gin and tonic festive with a couple of extra garnishes. Ruby red pomegranate arils and sugar crusted rosemary are quick easy additions to update your Christmas drinks


  • 30 ml Gin (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
  • 15 ml Rosemary simple syrup
  • 10 ml Lemon juice
  • Tonic Water
  • 3-4 blocks of ice
  • 1-2 teaspoons of pomegranate arils
  • Lemon wheel
  • Rosemary sprig to garnish
  • caster sugar


  1. Add ice to rocks or stemless gin glass
  2. Pour in gin and rosemary syrup
  3. Squeeze lemon wedge to add a touch of sour
  4. Top mixture with tonic water and stir with a bar spoon to mix
  5. Add pomegranate arils and lemon wheel
  6. Wet a rosemary sprig then dip it into sugar to make snowy garnish topper
