Fruity Fusion Blast

Here’s a colourful cocktail recipe that is a fusion of fruit layers. The fun in making this drink is getting all the layers in place with raspberry at the bottom, pineapple and lime in the middle crowned by a blue curacao top. Satisfaction guaranteed if you nail the layers!!

The crushed ice will dilute and combine the flavours whilst maintaining the layers in this drink. Because this drink does not contain any alcohol, we can call it a mocktail making it a child-friendly and non-alcoholic version of a layered cocktail. Have fun experimenting with different flavours and colours and extend your mixology skills with this layering technique.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice.
  2. Slowly pour the Hibiscus syrup over the ice to create the first layer.
  3. Gently pour the pineapple juice over the Hibiscus layer to create the second layer.
  4. Next, carefully pour the lime syrup over the pineapple juice to create the third layer.
  5. Finally, add the blue curacao over the lime soda to create the fourth and final layer.
  6. To enhance the visual effect, you can use a spoon to slowly pour each layer by placing it just above the previous layer and allowing the liquid to slide off the spoon onto the glass.
  7. Serve the cocktail with a fun garnish like a pineapple wedge or a maraschino cherry on top.
