Hibiscus Hot Toddy

This blush red hot toddy hits the mark with its sweet-and-sour balance. This hot toddy recipe has been adapted for all the virgin cocktail queens out there.  Using gourmet vinegars like yarrawonga white balsamic vinegar instead of alcohol to give you the feeling of complexity in your glass. Hibiscus flowers are used for strengthening the immune system. Good for treating colds, inflammation and stimulating appetite. Enjoy all the benefits of sipping a hibiscus hot toddy this winter.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml White Rum, Tequila or White Wine Vinegar
  • 25 ml Hibiscus Simple Syrup
  • 150ml Green Tea, Brewed
  • Garnish Lemon Wheel
  • Glassware Mug

Instructions

Make a cup of green tea and allow to cool to desired drinking temperature before adding other ingredients. Stir and top with a lemon wheel with and hibiscus flower.
