Cubans created the mojito to flavour their rum. This exotic drink became a classic cocktail thanks to Ernest Hemmingway, Nat King Cole and visiting Americans during Prohibition. This version is made with lime mint and sugar syrup rather than a teaspoon of sugar.

- juice 1/2 lime (10ml)
- 1 cup of crushed ice
- 10 mint leaves
- club soda
- 3-6 mint leaves
- 2-3 lime wheels
Instructions:
- Mix the lime syrup fresh lime juice in a Collins glass
- Add 1/4 of the crushed ice

- Stick some lime wheels into the glass for visual appeal
- Garnish the top of the glass with a sprig of mint
