Pimm’s Punch

Pimm’s No 1 is essentially a gin based liqueur created in the 19th century to aid digestion. Much like the Benedictine Monks created Dom Benedictine or Colonel Sanders of KFC fame, James Pimm created a secret mix of gin quinine and spices as a tonic to maintain general health.

Pimm’s cup tastes fruity, sweet and lightly spicy. Bubbles from the ginger beer and soda make this a refreshing summer drink. Traditionally mixed up as a fruit punch and served from a jug it is highly recommended to use lemon and cucumber to add extra flavour the drink. Make sure to load your glass up with ice.

Pimm’s has a slightly bitter tang so we have added our Chocola simple syrup which balances this out perfectly and boosts the spice levels up a notch.
