Rose Gin Cocktail

Rose Gin Cocktail

Wine flavoured Australian gins such as Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz and Patient Wolf Pinot Noir Gin inspired me to mix a local Yarra Valley Rose into a light & lovely Rose Gin cocktail.

The flavors of Rose wine lean on the fruity side, so you can expect notes of strawberry, citrus, melon, raspberry, cherry, and fresh flowers. Adding sour cranberry juice with sweet floral rose garden syrup to accentuate the berry notes and florals makes this a perfect sipper for a lazy afternoon.

Cocktails need to be cold so this one is stired in a mixing jug with lots of ice. Then poured into a large wine glass 1/2 filled with ice. A sipper goes faster than you think so why not mix up a jug this wine cocktail
