Salted Rosemary Paloma

We all love a margarita, but if you are looking for a healthy alternative for Feb Fast, Dry July or just taking a break from alcohol, this paloma mocktail is a great option and tastes just as good as the real thing! Made with grapefruit and lime juice with a hint of rosemary, it’s sweet, sour, and seasoned with a touch of saltiness.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml (1/2 ruby red grapefruit juiced)
  • 20 ml Rosemary simple syrup
  • 15 ml Lime juice (1/2 lime)
  • Soda water
  • pinch Malden salt
  • Ice cubes
  • Salted Lime wedge

Instructions

  1. Add ice cubes to cocktail shaker
  2. Juice 1/2 grapefruit and 1/2 lime
  3. Add all liquids with a pinch of salt into shaker
  4. Shake to mix ingredients approx. 10 seconds
  5. Strain into a tumbler glass filled with ice glass (making sure to remove any grapefruit pith)
  6. Top with soda water to taste
  7. Rim the glass with lime and salt
  8. Add a salted lime or grapefruit wheel (we use Tipple Topper)
