Our take on a tropical rum-based cocktail is easy to make and easy to drink. This tiki treat is about the citrus with a tropical passionfruit zing and. Classically garnished with orange and cocktail cherries.
Ingredients:
- 50 ml dark rum
- 50 ml white rum
- 1 passion fruit
- 1 orange- juiced
- 1 lemon- juiced
- 50 ml Lime simple syrup
- 50 ml Hibiscus simple syrup
- 4 cocktail cherries
- 2 orange slices
- ice
Instructions
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice
- Pour the rums into the shaker
- Add passionfruit flesh and seeds
- Add orange and lemon juice
- Add Lime and Hibiscus simple syrups
- Shake until outside of cocktail shaker feels icy cold
- Fill two hurricane glasses with fresh ice
- Double strain the drink into the prepared glasses
- Garnish each glass with and orange skewered into a cocktail stick and a couple of cherries
